Abstract :
In one of the feeders at PLN ULP Langsa, the city where the feeder has energy loss problems is the BE 03 Paya Bili feeder. The feeder in 2020 is a feeder that often shrinks due to technical and non-technical factors, the distance from PLN ULP Langsa city to Paya Bili is quite far, with a distance of 60KM. Problems that very often occur in these peyulang are frequent disturbances and theft. Energy losses can be found in various places in the electric power network, which occurs in medium voltage networks. This is certainly detrimental to the electricity company. This thesis discusses energy losses (losses) due to technical and non-technical consequences of the BE 03 Paya Bili feeder in 2020. The data collection method was carried out namely Literature Study, Observation and Interview, based on the results of the data obtained where the energy loss that occurred was 108,586 kWh, power active on the BE 03 Paya Bili feeder for 24 hours is 70451.04 kWh, the power loss found in the BE 03 Paya Bili feeder is 209.67 kVar and for the energy used at the measuring instrument place for 1 month that is 131087.52 kWh. Losses experienced by PLN due to unsold kWh to customers amounted to Rp.79,762,000.
