Abstract :
The distribution of electrical energy that starts from generation and ends with consumer use must be effective, efficient and reliable. Looking at these criteria, in the generation of electrical energy and the distribution of electrical energy must be done rationally and economically. In the distribution network the amount of electrical energy that reaches the load is not the same as the amount of electrical energy generated due to shrinkage or loss of energy. One of the factors of loss loss on the electric power system network is also caused by the wide cross-section and the length of the channel is getting bigger. This study aims to find out the magnitude of voltage falls and power losses in the delivery used in the type of channels used on Medium Voltage Air Lines in the Sigara-gara region and then evaluate whether the large voltage fall is still in normal condition or not according to PLN standards. The results showed a voltage fall of 2.87 volts or 0.014% and large power losses below 894.76 Watts or by 0.015%.
