Abstract :
Energy has become a basic need for all people and PT PLN (Persero) is responsible for providing, distributing, and services of electrical energy in Indonesia. One of the things that must be maintained by PT PLN (Persero) is the quality of energy distribution to customers, where one of the benchmarks is the amount of energy loss that occurs during the distribution of electricity to consumers. The Pesantren Feeder is the central feeder in Kediri because it serves many industrial areas that support the city's economy. The amount of energy loss in this feeder must be maintained so that it does not exceed the allowable limit. The calculation method used to determine the value of energy loss is a calculation using the Yogya formula and simulation using a program. Based on the results of the Yogya formula calculation, the value of energy loss in Pesantren Feeder during the period March 2021 was 34314.06 kWh with a percentage loss of 1.56% at the time of WBP and 36397.88 kWh with a percentage of loss of 1.65% at the time of LWBP. From the results of the program simulation, it is obtained that the energy loss is 33840 kWh with a percentage loss of 0.01%. When compared with SPLN 72 Year 1987 the results of the two calculations are still below the standard which limits the energy loss value of 2.3%.
