Abstract :
Based on the results obtained from the analysis of the network division team of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Sawangan where there has been a voltage drop in the Vila Pamulang housing estate, the lightning hut caused by the over radius of the distance from the PPI distribution substation to its customers. Where the distance reaches 410 meters. where according to SPLN No. 1: 1978 a predetermined distance from PT. PLN (Persero) is 305 meters and the service voltage is a maximum of 5% and a minimum of 10% of the nominal voltage of the low-voltage network, which is 220 Volts. So to overcome by using the method of breaking the load so that there is no voltage drop. Where for the value of the voltage drop at the PPI substation during daytime measurements, namely for phase R = 211.19 with a percentage of 7% voltage drop, phase S = 202.97 with a percentage of 9.791% voltage drop, phase T = 192.7 with a percentage of voltage drop 13.97%. In the results of night measurements for phase R = 208.64 with a percentage drop in voltage of 8.08%, phase S = 181.11 with a percentage drop in voltage of 19.506%, phase T = 185.88 with a percentage drop in voltage of 17.017%.. And for the results after the load breaking method was carried out during the day, namely phase R = 219.23 with a percentage of the voltage drop value of 2.564%, phase S = 218.23 with a percentage of the value of the voltage drop 2.575%, phase T = 217.36 with a percentage value of the voltage drop is 2.96%. For the night results in the R phase = 215.36 with a percentage of the voltage drop value of 4.271%, the S phase = 206.69 with a percentage of the voltage drop value of 7.727%, the T phase = 207.39 with a percentage value the voltage drop is 7.415%
