Abstract :
In the electric power distribution system, there is a set of electrical equipment installed and called cubicles. Cubicles can experience a coronal phenomenon where when the air around the conductor or conductor is ionized, the phenomenon arises due to a high electric field. In the process there is a release of the payload that fails air insulation, thus potentially damaging the cubicle. As a precautionary corona, the authors designed a temperature control tool using NodeMCU as a microcontroller and DHT11 as an Internet Of Things-based temperature sensor to facilitate the process of monitoring. This tool is equipped with a heater and also a fan to maintain the temperature and humidity in the cubicle. The system maintains cubicles at 35°C - 40°C. When the cubicle is below 35°C then the heater will be active so that the temperature again increases to 35°C. When the temperature is above 40°C the active fan is activated so that the temperature will again decrease so that it reaches a temperature below 40°C. Then the temperature between 35 °C - 40 ° C will make the temperature control device disable the heater and fan Based on the calculation of the average percentage of an error on the tool is 0.72% and accuracy rate of 99.28 %. It can be said that the temperature control equipment that has been made can prevent the occurrence of corona with the addition of a heater and fan as well as the ease of monitoring the temperature and humidity in the cubicle remotely.
