Abstract :
The distribution network is the part of the electric power system that is closest to the customer. The failure of any component of the distribution system equipment can affect the continuity of power service. This study aims to evaluate the reliability of the distribution system of the ULP Fort Feeder in Depok City and to improve the system reliability index by repositioning the recloser. The method used is the section technique method and the SAIDI and SAIFI values are obtained for the Benteng Feeder, SAIFI 5,4582 f/customer.yr and SAIDI 13,2976 hr/customer.yr. The reliability assessment simulation on the ETAP 12.6 software obtained SAIFI values of 5.7022 f/customer.yr and SAIDI 13.6938 hr/customer.yr. To increase reliability, recloser was repositioned on the Benteng Feeder, which among the four simulated scenarios, the optimal SAIFI value when the recloser was installed according to scenario 3 with a SAIFI value of 4.4104 f/customer.yr or a decrease of 1.2918 f/customer.yr from before repositioning the recloser, while the optimal SAIDI value when the recloser is installed is according to scenario 1 with a SAIDI value of 12.7651 hr/customer.yr or a decrease of 0.9287 hr/customer.yr from before the recloser repositioning. This decrease proves that by repositioning the recloser to a place or point in the middle of the Feeder Benteng channel, the SAIFI and SAIDI reliability indices can be improved.
