Abstract :
Power transformer is an electric power equipment that serves to distribute electrical power from high voltage to low voltage or vice versa. So that it becomes one of the most vital tools for the electric power system, therefore it is expected that a transformer can have a long service life, small life loss and high efficiency value. Where several factors that can affect the life of the transformer are loading and ambient temperature which can affect the value of the hot-spot temperature on the transformer. And the factor that can affect the efficiency of the transformer is the load that can affect the value of losses. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive statistical analysis techniques. From the results of data processing referring to IEC 354, SPLN 17a and IEEE C57 91 2011, based on the average loading data in 2020 for January to December on the Main Transformer unit 1 of the Musi Hydroelectric Power Plant, the highest age loss occurred in May 2020, which was 0.089 and the lowest occurred in July of 0.008. Then the efficiency value in 2020 for the months of January to December on the Main Transformer unit 1 of the Musi Hydroelectric Power Plant, the efficiency value is above 99.7% which can be said to be good.
