Abstract :
Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is a system that can convert sunlight into electrical energy, PLTS has a system called on grid, where the PLTS system on grid is a PLTS system that
is connected to the PLN network, in PLTS on grid there is a main component that will converting DC current into AC current is an inverter. The more sophisticated the technology, we can see the performance of the inverter in an application that is connected
to the inverter, we can use the application via a computer or via a smartphone, making it easier to monitor the inverter. This inverter also has an on grid system which will later
connect the PLTS with the PLN network, the on-grid inverter will synchronize the grid at PLN with several stages of the mechanism on the on-grid inverter. To synchronize the
inverter with the PLN network, it must meet several conditions, namely the voltage, phase, and frequency on the inverter must be the same as the voltage, phase, and frequency at PLN. Starting with inverter monitoring to see the performance of the inverter so that the voltage, current, and power on the inverter can be controlled. The calculation of the input power and output power is carried out to determine the efficiency of the on grid inverter, the calculation is carried out to analyze the work system of the on grid inverter. So that the efficiency results obtained are very good, namely 95.68% - 96.07% of the maximum efficiency of the inverter, which is 98.8%.
