Abstract :
Batteries are an important component in the installation of PLTS Off-Grid as an energy storage system (ESS) generated from Solar PV during the day. Because battery life and battery life are affected by many factors, it is necessary to determine the average depth of discharge (DoD) and the number of daily cycles used by the battery during use. The type of battery used is Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) with a nominal capacity of 45,875 Watt as many as 8 pieces, each battery with a capacity of 51.2V 112Ah arranged in series. The estimated percentage rate of Depth of Discharge (DoD) is 54.11%, the number of cycles that have been used is 15 cycles and the average daily cycle is 0.5 cycles. Starting from 13/04/2020 to 12/05/2020 with an average daily Discharging of 24,281 kWh and Charging 57,223 kWh. The estimated remaining life of the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) battery is 48 Years 2 Months 9 Days with an estimated cycle of 8,813 cycles
