Abstract :
Electric vehicles are vehicles that use electricity as the main source. Electric transport is an important means to reduce the problem of decreased its oil reserves, and also has a solution to reduce air pollution caused by vehicles using petroleum. Jakarta is air pollution the worst to 5 in the world, so the campus of Institute of Technology PLN make a new breakthrough, namely electric car that can reduce air circulation is polluted. The utilization of solar energy is one of them Can be used in Such as the need for energy supply of the solar power plant of solar energy utilization reduce human dependence on the energy of Coal, oil and natural gas is still used for energy PLN, this is actually difficult to be updated. This electric vehicle is able to sustain 2 to 3 passengers in a single trip. BLDC Motor with specifications power 3000 w with a wheel diameter of 12 inch. and using the Lithium Ion battery with the amount of 500 fruit that has the voltage and current is 50 Ah, the 60 V and also using Solar Panels to absorb sunlight and then in the conversion into electrical energy so it can be used as an energy reserve in the Accu SLRA. This electric vehicle can be pursued and drove with a speed of 50 Km/h for approximately 2 hours.
