Abstract :
SCADA is a system that can monitor remotely. The components of the SCADA system are Master Stations that serve to control the system as a whol monitored from the computer. However, this Master Station will not perform remote control with remote control if there is a disturbance, one of which is like the LENGKONG GI where the data on the capacitor in the substation is not readable for telemetering and also cannot do remote control so it needs the installation of BCU (Bay Control Unit). The installation of the Bay Control Unit will be conducted point-to-point testing. After installing and from the Bay Control Unit testing, the results obtained are data on the capacitor can be monitored again for the value of telemetering and also its telecontrol. Testing the power value by testing using the injec-tor value obtained is the same as the calculation manually, namely for active power of 104.0 MW and for its reactive power of 104.0 MVAR. The use of BCU is more khandal when compared to using RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) in terms of operation, installation, and trouble shooting
