Abstract :
Information technology has changed many aspects of human life. It?s role is addressed to support human activities and making their live become easy. One of business activity has been using information technology to support procurement. EProcurement system, automatic procurement using internet technology, gives benefit to improve efficiency by reducing cycle time in procurement process. It?s benefit pomes from fact that e-procurement gives interface, electronic catalog and automatic processing. As a big construction company in Indonesia, PT.SIWICS has deep intensity in procurement activity due to projects that they handle. They are using manual and EDI system as their procurement system. This system does not give proper support in term reducing cycle time and paper use. This company need an eprocurement that suitable with their need to improve their procurement system.
