Abstract :
PLTU (Steam Power Plant) is a power plant that utilizes steam as kinetic energy or propulsion which will then be converted into electrical energy. At PLTU there is a boiler component which is a tool used to produce steam in the form of a steam boiler. The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of the boiler and the electrical energy produced by the PLTU. The best boiler efficiency occurred in January of 52.08% and the worst efficiency occurred in June of 35.90%. The highest energy produced by PLTU occurred in June, which was 234.03 MWh and the lowest was in May, which was 56.46 MWh. The resulting efficiency is not good enough this is due to damage to the equipment such as damage to the pipe line.
