Abstract :
Technical loss is one of the problems that occur in the distribution sistem caused by the length of the feeder in the medium voltage sistem. If the technical loss exceeds the predetermined limit, it can cause losses to the company and the consumer. In this research, sistem reconfiguration was carried out on the Panimbang Feeder which had a fairly large technical loss rate. The method used in this research is a quantitative method, in the form of literature studies, interviews, calculations and simulations using software. The Panimbang feeder is a feeder supplied with a 60 MVA transformer from GI Menes which has a line length of 167.94 kms. After reconfiguring the sistem by attracting a new sistem, namely the New Panimbang feeder. After that, the calculation is carried out using some formula, and the results is the technical loss of the Panimbang feeder which was originally 38.82% decreased to 5.48%, and the value of the technical loss of the New Panimbang feeder is 7.32%. Meanwhile, if using software, the result for Panimbang feeder is 19.7% decreased to 5.16%, so the value for the New Panimbang feeder is 7.03%. Electrical energy loss of the Panimbang feeder the value based on the calculation using formula was 72,780,792 kWh at a cost of Rp. 105,391,681.47 decreased to 4,922,208 kWh at a cost of Rp. 7,127,701.74, and for the New Panimbang feeder, the electrical energy loss is 4,782.432 kWh at a cost of Rp.6,925,296. Furthermore, the electrical energy loss based on software for the Panimbang feeder is 41,760 kWh at a cost of Rp. 60,471,403.2 decreased to 5,076 kWh at a cost of Rp. 7,350,403.32, and for the New Panimbang feeder, the loss of electrical energy is 7,860 kWh at a cost of Rp. 11,381,830,2
