Abstract :
Management and maintenance of the documents of a tertiary institution becomes an important factor for the survival of a tertiary institution. Previously, STT PLN had an Electronic Document Management System (E-DMS) application, Maya. E-DMS Mayan has limitations in terms of user management and file access. That is not yet customizable, there are no folder organizing features and no public and private settings. From these limitations, the author agrees that the E-DMS application uses the User Centered Design (UCD) method. Application testing uses three scenarios, namely black box testing, interviews and questionnaires. The black box test results obtained all the features in the application work well. While the test results and interviews obtained by the E-DMS application can be used because most respondents are satisfied.
