Abstract :
Sentral motor is a Spare Part shop that sells such equipment on motorized vehicles. For procurement of goods in the store is done once a month to supply goods entering the store. Stock inventory managed by shop owners is intended to anticipate the inventory of goods experiencing low levels of demand so that there can be a buildup of goods in the warehouse due to unsold. Sometimes the stock of goods in the warehouse is sold out due to high demand from customers. In this study an application is expected to be able to predict the stock of goods for the next period. This forecasting aims to maintain the stability of the stock so as not to excess or shortage that can harm the store owner. This forecasting application uses the Simple Moving Average method. Simple Moving Average method is a forecasting method that uses the average of a data where predetermined a data points at the outset so that the average can be calculated to estimate new data.
