Abstract :
The increasing population of Banjarmasin city from year to year certainly has an impact on socio-economic life. Some of the impacts arising from population density include increasing demand for various social facilities, increasing competition in work so as to narrow the field and employment opportunities, increasing unemployment and increasing crime rates. K-Means clustering method is implemented to determine the level of population density in Banjarmasin City by grouping a dataset consisting of 60 monthly data and 18 attributes that are indicators of population density based on data from Badan Pusat Statistik in Banjarmasin city in years 2014 to 2018. The result of this research is an information about the population density in the city of Banjarmasin. This research is expected to be able to help BPS in providing information about the population density in Banjarmasin City to the public and institutions that need it
