Abstract :
This thesis discusses the presence using the QR Code. During this student attendance system in schools is still dominated by using paper, QR Code is a matrix code in the form of two-dimensional development of the previous barcode. In the old barcode model, data is stored horizontally while in QR Code, data is stored both vertically and horizontally. Many systems today are easy to access online anywhere and anytime. The development of the internet is developing so rapidly and continues to innovate and create new breakthroughs. In improving the quality of the learning system when the tutoring is taking place, the presence system is a QR Code scan to properly record student attendance. This presence system was created using Android Studio with the Java programming language and the Web was created using Notepad ++ with the PHP Programming Language. Potential is based on location with the provisions of the distance using the Haversine method that has been determined. Where that means if the student is more than the distance specified, then the student cannot make a presence that is considered as a student who is not entered. This application was tested using the Black Box method.
