Abstract :
ABSTRACT Looking for the optimal values is a problem that is often faced in daily. Like to determine the shortest route, in quest for the optimal value to determine the shortest route can be used to obtain the largest and smallest in some case. One of the problems that can be solved well with an optimization algorithm is the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) to determine the shortest route using the Ant Colony Optimization method. Therefore, this research will use the Ant Colony Optimization method to search the shortest travel route in Bulukumba Regency. The results will make it easyly for tourists who want to find the travel destination and travel route information will very easily using the android mobile application and the Google Maps API.
