Abstract :
Batik is an illustrated cloth that is specially made by writing or lighting a wax (wax) on the cloth, then the processing is processed in a certain way or commonly known as batik cloth. The purpose of this study is to design and build an introduction to technology to identify Papuan batik motifs using the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix method to process images of Papuan batik motifs. The application of the Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix method with the SVM classification method can analyze the texture of the Papuan batik motifs, with an accuracy rate of 75% using 4 parameter calculations, namely energy, contrast, correlation, homogeneity, and entropy.
