Abstract :
The use of the method is one of the supporting factors when an information system is implemented to produce a decision from certain data which will be selected. The problem encountered at Annida Al Islamy College is the selection of potential new students to become students at MTs Annida AL Islamy Jakarta. By involving a decision support system using the profiIe matching method, this method uses the concept of criteria decision making with profile matching, the smalIer the gap (input data criteria), the more the weight vaIue is high, which means that someone is more likely to be in that position. The criteria used are Uan value, Ipa value, Ips value, English and Arabic, these criteria are the requirements for evaluation during selection. The results of applying the method to the system, the system provides a decision for the value generated by potential new students who take the entrance exam to MTs Annida AL Islamy Jakarta
