Abstract :
Karya Tunanetra Peduli Bangsa Foundation has at Ieast 400 people with visuaI impairments across the Jabodetabek and Bandung region, however, It does not have a portaI to access the reaI-time information of bind peopIe Iocation and aIso the information about the bIind foundation incIuding the instruction on how to donate to the foundation itself. So, to faciIitate access to the information, a portaI is needed to do an update about the Iatest information which can be reached widely yet efficientIy for someone to find a blind foundation. This research aims to create a foundation portaI and an appIication which can easiIy find the bIind person whereabouts when having an accident or getting Iost using the Haversine Formula method and googIe maps as support. The Haversine formuIa is an equation that gives a Iarge circuIar distance (radius) between two points on the surface of a sphere (earth) based on Iongitude and Iatitude. The system design technique uses the UML (Unified Modeling Language) tooIs method, the system testing technique using the BIackbox and MAPE Technique. The resuIts of the MAPE test using the Haversine method shows that the accuracy rate is 74%. The output of the research is a bIind foundation portaI using Haversine Method to determine the Location of bIind peopIe (Study Case: Karya Tunanetra Peduli Bangsa Foundation)
