Abstract :
The high temperature of the car cabin can affect the inconvenience of the driver and passenger in driving, in addition to the high temperature in the cabin of the car can also cause a variety of problems including damage to the interior, especially the dashboard and other parts of the car and can cause unpleasant odors in the cabin. Therefore, a device that can monitor and can lower the temperature level in the cabin without having to enter the car cabin and start the car. This study aims to find out what temperature and humidity conditions in the car cabin are included in the ideal state of between 25 ºC - 30ºC and 45% - 65% so as to reduce the inconvenience of the driver and passengers who are in it. In determining the results of temperature and humidity conditions in the car cabin, the perceptron method is used as a classification of temperature and humidity conditions in the cab to determine whether or not it is ideal based on the temperature and humidity values obtained by the DHT11 sensor. In order to connect with the cloud server, wifi module ESP8266 is required as a link between arduino and Firebase for data delivery, making it easier for users to access data remotely. The result of this study is information in the form of real time temperature and humidity in the cabin of the car that can be viewed and controlled through a smartphone device. In addition, with the use of thermoelectric coolers, the temperature in the cab can be lowered by activating the peltier thermoelectric cooler circuit. The use of temperature and cooling monitoring in the cab of an IoT-based MPV car can make it easier for users to monitor temperature and humidity conditions and can determine whether the car cabin is in an ideal state. The results of this study obtained data with average temperature and humidity in the test process reaching 39 ºC and 39% . the level of accuracy in the application achieves 98%.
