Abstract :
One of the attributes that influence the results of the tracer study is the suitability of the alumni's work with the competence of the field of study. This research is focused on the classification of alumni in finding job suitability according to graduate users based on tracer study data taken from the IT-PLN Service, Career and Alumni (BLKA) Department. By using the C4.5 method and the tracer study application to find the accuracy of job suitability based on the website, it can produce job suitability accuracy results according to graduate users in all majors, and is expected to be able to solve the question of how closely the suitability of alumni jobs at the Institute of Technology PLN. The attributes sought consisted of 11 competency attributes in the field of study which were directly assessed by the employer where the alumni worked (user survey). The accuracy results obtained are 48% by using confusion matrix accuracy. The accuracy is also compared with the accuracy using a rapid miner and the accuracy results obtained are 49.67%. Although the accuracy results obtained are still low, it indicates that the results of the accuracy of job suitability for alumni using the C4.5 method are still less tight
