Abstract :
The Department of Fisheries and Marine Affairs of the city of Jayapura is tasked with and responsible for development in the marine and fisheries sector as well as for dealing with fishermen's welfare and ensuring the availability of fish food
for the community. Data processing that is used still carried out in the conventional way and monitoring of catch results that are not available in real time make the cause of the decline in catch yields cannot be handled quickly. Related to this problem, an information system for monitoring fishermen's catch using the k-means method was created to help classify potential and nonpotential fishery households, with applications built using the PHP programming
language, MySQL database, and waterfall design models. The processed data is stored in the system database which is then presented in a graphic so that it can easily be seen the fluctuation of fishermen's catch and making reports of more
effective catch. The test results show that the entire system built is working well
