Abstract :
PT. Sulatama Mandiri is a clothing manufacturer. In determining the number of clothes that must be produced, errors often occur, resulting in an over stock of goods in the warehouse. In this case, PT. Sulatama Mandiri requires information technology that can help maximize company performance in predicting the number of goods that must be produced. By utilizing information technology that is increasingly developing, it will help companies improve the quality of their performance in managing existing data. So that the company's performance will be faster and not less competitive with other companies. Therefore, determining the right amount of production can be done by implementing a Decision Support System (DSS) to predict the amount of production of goods using the Weight Moving Average (WMA) method. The webbased application is designed to help improve the accuracy of sales predictions. This study uses a type of women's cotton T-shirt to calculate the predicted value in the future. Forecasting results for the monthJune 2020 = 32.83 with the error value MAD = 8.611, the value of MSD = 115.862 and MAPE = 25.72%.These results indicate a decent level of accuracy. so that the weight moving average method can be used in this study.
