Abstract :
ENERGY AND EXERGY ANALYSIS OF STEAM POWER PLANT BEFORE AND AFTER OVERHAUL IN UNIT 1 PLTU INDRAMAYU. In the research of PLTU system usually only refers to energy efficiency only. However, in this study to determine the accuracy of energy efficiency and the generation of energy exergy is considered insufficient if it refers only to energy efficiency according to the First Law of Thermodynamics but needs to be combined with the Exergy approach based on the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the energy and energy of PLTU before and After Overhaul in unit 1 PLTU Indramayu to know the losses / heat losses that occur in PLTU system, so it can be known potential loss and can be repaired. The method used is a method of calculation based on mass equilibrium and energy efficiency as well as allergies influenced by entropy, so it can be compared with using cycle cycle program. Result of study of analysis and evaluation of energy and exergy on PLTU system. The study results also show that components that have great potential to make improvements are condensers with an Idestroyed value is 75.41% (before overhaul) and 75.1% (after overhaul), thus giving a good effect on changes in efficiency.
