Abstract :
In the system that previously ran at the PLN UPDL Jakarta Library, it still used a manual system, both from searching for books with borrowers coming to and choosing books in the library. In addition, the process of borrowing and returning is sometimes not recorded. So that the condition of the book when it is borrowed and returned can be different without being noticed by the supervisor. In addition, books are not placed on the proper shelves when borrowed. Therefore, a library application was created, this web-based application that uses the Sequential Search method. Where this method is considered to be the most effective method for searching book titles and reports, by comparing the array one by one. Then a more effective and accurate goal can be found. With this library application, it can be concluded that the existence of this web-based library can help training participants, staff and librarians in borrowing books and monitoring activities in the library. So that it can minimize damage, loss and inaccuracy of existing reports.
