Abstract :
In the present era, the Lontara script is starting to disappear in society due to cultural shifts that make the Lontara script shifted with foreign languages. Even the Lontara script can only be found on street boards and during elementary school for local content subjects. Multimedia development existence Cycle This research aims to develop a learning media that is more attractive and efficient using augmented fact by utilizing the Android / ios phone camera feature. Where this method has 6 stages, namely idea, layout, fabric accumulating, assembly, testing and distribution. This translation application is designed to help students or the public in knowing the Lontara language which is where less and less people know about the culture. In the application, there are two actors, namely the admin who acts as the highest actor who inputs words and creates user rights. And the user himself as a translation and dictionary user on the android application.
