Abstract :
Final year students are one of the important components in the running process of this application, because this application can help find out the potential of students and their interests in the field of work. For that we need an application to determine talent and interest in the work field. Through this application students can find out the level of intelligence, personality, work attitudes, and work interest. In this study, the application developed is an application of determining student interest in the field of work. The results of the application are recommendations for the types of work suitable for students. This application will be used in the Career and Alumni Service Agency (BLKA) IT PLN, where BLKA will really need this psychological test application to find out the work interest of students who will graduate. By using the forward chaining method where this method aims to make it easier to analyze the intelligence, personality, work attitudes, and work interest of students by using facts, namely the questions are matched with the IF section of the IF-THEN rules, if there are facts that match the IF section , then the rule is executed and generates a new fact (THEN). From the sample of students who have taken the psychological test, the results of the intelligence test got a score of 77, with the personality of Influence, the work attitude is considered ineffective (lazy, slow, not agile, not good at carrying out tasks, and suitable jobs are architects, copy writers, designers. , musicians, photographers, R&D support, public relations, product design, advertising design
