Abstract :
Promotion is an award given for work performance and dedication of the State Civil Apparatus, as well as an encouragement to further improve work performance and dedication. Promotion is a very important factor for employee career planning and also for rejuvenating a position so that it is occupied by someone who has suitable criteria for occupying a proposed position. In the Regional Government of Bengkulu City, there is a mismatch between the placement of positions and the capabilities of ASN. So that ASN performance is not optimal. To help solve existing problems, we need a method that can be used in the promotion of an employee promotion. One of them is the decision support system with the TOPSIS method. The TOPSIS method that is applied to the system to solve problems is an effective method of decision making when there is subjectivity in problems.
