Abstract :
Lock-in syndrome (LIS) is a disease that make the patient experienced total paralyzation so they can?t communicate with people around them. But their cognitive abilities is still normal, so that one way to communitcate is using their brain where human brain always produce electric potencial that can be recorded with EEG and then it will produce signals that can be researched. Before a product research to help LIS patient can be done, there is a need to understand of the characteristics and behavior of the signal from human brain. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is a process from data science that is used as a initial step in a feature engineering and modeling. EDA process make researchers possible to further their understanding about how characteristics from the data that will be used on the next research. The result to be expected from this research is to understand about the characteristics from brain signal so that it can be decided if production research to help LIS patient can be done or not.
