Abstract :
The process of selecting a PCU training provider (Pertamina Corporate University) currently uses the conventional method, this method takes a long time, where one training takes one month to choose a training provider, besides conventional file collection allows registrants to lose files collected. , there is no method to determine the selection of training providers as well as frequent soleproviders and difficulties in finding providers for specific training, resulting in less effective and efficient acceptance of training providers at PCU. This study aims to apply the Profile Matching method to the decision support system (DSS) for selecting training providers at PCU. Profile matching is a process of comparison between the competence of prospective training teaching providers with reference competencies so that the difference in competence is known as a GAP, the smaller the resulting GAP, the greater the resulting weight value, meaning that it has a greater chance of becoming a training provider at PCU. . The data collection techniques used by researchers were observation and interviews. The final result of the calculation using the Profile Matching method is a rating that can be used as a reference for choosing a provider to be used, by looking at the highest value of the registered provider.
