Abstract :
The meat of goats is one of the meats favored by indonesians.In raising their livestock, many of these goat farmers have less knowledge about goat diseases and how to cure them.In order to be able to treat the disease as quickly as possible, an expert system based application is required to help goat owners in diagnosing diseases in goats based on existing symptoms.The lack of veterinary personnel and the high cost of vets have also contributed the delay in treating the goats.This expert system is calculated by Dempster-Shafer method. Dempster-Shafer is method that can overcome the inconsistency of increasing evidence when this system is calculating. The results of this expert system will be tested with the Blackbox method and the method validation will be tested with Mean Square Error method. This application runs in a Web browser.
