Abstract :
SMA Negeri 2 Sidikalang is one of the public schools in Sidikalang that still uses conventional methods of paying tuition fees. Students pay tuition fees directly to the school treasurer where the recording of transaction data carried out by the school treasurer still uses books. Besides that, the method of payment applied by this school is very ineffective because it can interfere with the teaching and learning process in the classroom. With a transaction data collection system using books like this institution does, searching for financial data that is needed for a certain thing in the future will be very difficult and long and proof of payment in the form of cards written manually also causes less rapid service to students. Based on the existing problems, it is necessary to design a web-based financial information system as well as a supporting application for sending notifications to students / parents using the PHP programming language and Mysql as a storage medium or database. The system development methodology that I use is the waterfall methodology. The result of the system development is a system that can help SMA Negeri 2 Sidikalang North Sumatra to manage financial administration efficiently. The resulting system, if implemented, can help treasurers and leaders get monthly reports easily, make it easier for treasurers to confirm automatic tuition payment transactions, regular monthly recapitulation and notification systems that can make it easier for parents to remember the schedule for paying tuition fees.
