Abstract :
Cabbage plant is a plant that often easily found in Indonesia. Cabbage is generally used as a vegetable that common consumed by Indonesian people. One of the cabbage farms in Indonesia is in the district of Semarang, especially in the Sumowono district and its surroundings. According to Semarang district statistics in 2020, production for cabbage vegetables in 2019 amounted to 243,533 Kw and this makes cabbage vegetables rank as the third largest for vegetables produced in Semarang Regency. It is not uncommon for the cabbage plant to experience problems such as diseases and pests that can harm farmers. Therefore, the authors conducted research related to the prevention of problems that occurred. The solution to this problem is to conduct research related to an Android-based expert system application that uses the Dempster Shafer method as a determination of the facts of each symptom in order to obtain conclusions accurately through strong mathematical calculations. After testing 10 data, the accuracy results were obtained using a Dempster Shafer of 100% and application testing through BlackBox testing that can work according to the provisions.
