Abstract :
The Careers and Alumni Service Agency (BLKA) is an agency that works in the service of alumni careers and also conducts follow-up studies. Tracer study are conducted to improve the quality of graduate students by conducting alumni surveys, to obtain information about PLN IT alumni for evaluation, which will then be used to improve and develop the quality from the educational system to IT PLN and is also one of the factors assessed at the time study programs require accreditation. Along the same lines, a web application was created using the C4.5 algorithm to be able to know whether the old timers get a job sooner or later. This research uses tracer study data. The data used consisted of 6 attributes of alumni competence towards higher education contributions, namely knowledge outside the scientific field or discipline, general knowledge, internet skills, critical thinking, ability to learning and problem solving ability composed of 5 parameters, namely very high, high, sufficient, low, very low and long hold data for alumni to get a job. The results of implementing the C4.5 algorithm on the website application achieved an accuracy of 94.31%, the accuracy was also compared to the Rapidminer application with an accuracy rate of 80.1%
