Abstract :
A company inseparable from the role of human resources (HR) that affect the development of the company. The quality of human resources is one of the factors to increase the productivity and performance of a company. Therefore, a company will be very careful in selecting its employees. The problem that occurs at PT Bahtera Informatika is that the assessment process is still using manual methods so that the employee recruitment appraisal process is slow and inaccurate. In the assessment of employee acceptance, it is still subjective. There is no application program to support decision making and the company has difficulty in determining the candidate employees to be accepted at the company. Based on this, the authors implemented a decision support system for hiring employees using themethod Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Themethod Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP)is a model of decision making that is comprehensive and structured and is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. The results showed that the system built was able to provide automatic calculation results in accordance with the results of calculations carried out manually. It is hoped that the designed system can help objective decision makers and a more efficient assessment of employee acceptance processes
