Abstract :
Animated facial expressions is a complex thing in the world of animation. Where in making animated facial expressions, the animator takes a long time and must require accuracy in changing the pose in each frame manually. Using the retargeting technique is a fairly efficient way where animators need motion capture data from the tracking results in the blender feature to create animated facial expressions by recording the actor's face which has been marked with feature points and then transformed into a 3D face model. The multimedia development life cycle is a reference that aims to explain the procedures that must be passed to create animation in this study. Here the animator uses the tracking blender feature on the 47 feature points that are tracked from the beginning of the frame to the end of the frame. From this tracking, motion capture data is obtained to produce animated facial expressions that are able to visualize according to the original facial expressions using retargeting techniques so that it can accelerate the production of a 3D Animation
