Abstract :
This study aims to implement the Dijkstra Algorithm into an android-based application, to facilitate the search for the shortest path to a tourist attraction in Rembang Regency. Rembang Regency is an area of the north coast region that has many tourist destinations in the beach sector but there are still those who do not yet know how to get to the tourist route with the fastest route. Therefore the application of geographic information systems (GIS) in the Rembang Regency tourism area was made using the Dijkstra Algorithm method. Dijkstra's Algorithm method is used to determine the shortest route by calculating the smallest weight of each point so that the smallest value is reached from the starting point to the destination point. The results of the research will be translated into software. The waterfall method was chosen as a method for developing software. In this application, the Google Maps API is used as spatial data, while non-spatial data is in the form of detailed tourist information. Then the application will display a map of the route to be traveled from the starting point to the destination location. It is hoped that with the application of the geographical information system of Rembang Regency tourism area, it can help in terms of finding the shortest route of a tourist attraction directly connected to Google Maps to obtain real distances and routes.
