Abstract :
At present PT.PLN (Persero) ULP Sentani Papua has limited information and inaccurate address of the customer's home which makes the field officer of the violation section and meter registrar difficult to find the customer's house. This research is about calculating the level of accuracy between customer address data from PT.PLN data and from Google Maps, as well as determining the closest route to a customer's home. This study aims to display the accuracy of customer address data from PT.PLN ULP Sentani Papua data and from Google Maps that can display the nearest route making it easier for officers to find the customer's home location. This application applies the Cosine Similarity method and the Google Maps API. Data processing passes the text preprocessing process which includes tokenizing and filtering, for calculating the similarity of documents in the form of addresses using the Cosine Similarity method. The Google Maps API is used to display the closest route. Based on the results of tests of 396 sample data conducted, the results of the comparison of the similarity of the address obtained 29%. Then the Google Maps API is able to display the route closest to the customer's address.
