Abstract :
Vendors are the main resource in improving the quality and quantity of a company, so quality vendors are needed to improve these qualities. PT PLN Disjaya is the largest electricity company in Indonesia that requires quality vendors to improve its services to be able to compete. Of course we need a system that is able to provide an assessment of vendors so that companies can find out whether the vendor is qualified and able to meet those needs. At present, PT PLN Disjaya still uses forms in the form of hardcopy for vendor assessments that allow the file to be lost. In this system there is no process for ranking vendors to be able to provide solutions for companies to consider whether the vendor can extend the contract in the next period or not. Based on these problems, this ranking system was developed by using the TOPSIS method to conduct vendor assessments. This system uses 9 criteria that have been made by the company, processed with TOPSIS calculations, then produces the best rating list. The results of testing this decision support system states the system has been running properly, so the system can be used to help companies in a more objective assessment of vendors.
