Abstract :
In this study, the authors discuss the diagnosis of nutritional status of children aged 1-24 months. The problem is to reduce the number of malnutrition in children which can have positive effects in various aspects. The author in this study uses the Case Based Reasoning method. Case Based Reasoning is a method of computer reasoning that uses a base of cases to overcome new problems found. Case Based Reasoning provides solutions to new cases based on the closeness between the case base and the new cases that occur. Case base consists of classification of nutritional status along with symptoms and the solution is obtained from case collection from pediatricians. The user will consult the system, then the system will provide the results of the consultation in the form of selected nutritional status and a chart of the child's growth and development based on the similarity value on a case basis. The result of this application is to provide an output in the form of a possible nutritional status of children and treatment solutions based on the similarity of new cases with a case base.
