Abstract :
The hadith that has been packaged in digital form only has a search menu or which is known by a search engine to find the desired hadith. However, the problem is for ordinary people who have a problem to solve it will encounter obstacles because there are thousands of hadith from several books. Also, you must understand the keywords to find the hadith in question. A questioning answering system is a system that is useful in finding answers or information from existing questions. Question answering can be developed to assist and facilitate the search for information contained in the hadith. The method used is TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity. TF-IDF is used in matching sentences containing terms to get the weight value of each sentence. The weight value will be used in the calculation of the cosine similarity method. The higher the result of the cosine similarity value is found, the greater the similarity of the sentence with the answer to the question of the hadith. The TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity methods can 90% of the accuracy testing value in the hadith automatic answering application.
