Abstract :
Existing power plants still have to show their reliability as a reliable electricity producer, some power plants in Indonesia are very dependent on natural conditions to promote their best performance, for example gas power plants. PLTG uses gas turbine as the main component that converts gas energy from the combustion chamber to mechanical energy that can rotate the generator to produce electricity which is very dependent on the temperature of the air environment. Thus, it is necessary to conduct research on the performance of PLTG at PT. PJB UP Muara Tawar is specifically the back work ratio of gas turbines. On the results of the calculation of the ideal back work ratio carried out at the time of operation 09.55 - 10.55 has a difference of 0.144%, with an average percentage increasing by 0.048% and at operating times 13.50-14.50 has a difference of 0.146% with an average percentage of 0.055 %, and from the results of the actual calculations carried out at the time of operation 09.55 - 10.55 have a difference in the percentage of turbine 0.146%, with an average percentage increase by 0.048% and at operating time 13.50-14.50 the difference in percentage value is 0.114% with an average percentage down amounting to 0.038%. then from these results the higher the air temperature of the environment, the greater the back work ratio, and vice versa
