Abstract :
Project management is a project processing process that includes planning, organizing and managing resource tasks to realize the goals to be achieved, taking into account the factors of time and cost. The Public Works Office (PU) of Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi is a government agency engaged in public works in the government that carries out the development and governance of Bantaeng Regency. In working on the project, several problems arise in project planning and control, namely the difficulty of mapping the critical path of an activity. The meaning of the path is important in the implementation of the project, because in this pathway activities which are approved for implementation are delayed will cause overall project delays. By creating a management information system using the Project Evaluation Review Technic (PERT) and Critical Path Method (CPM) methods, which are the most widely used methods in planning and controlling projects. By applying pert and cpm methods in the system it can be seen the time required, supervision related to the needs that exist in the critical path can be more concentrated.
