Abstract :
According to kicaunews.com. in the South Tangerang area there are several motor vehicle tax arrears, around 400 thousand vehicles are in arrears from 2012 to 2017. The lack of awareness of the motor vehicle user tax payments is still lacking, due to the majority are ignorance about the vehicle tax. The payment schedules and locations with the Geographic Information System (GIS) can describe the reminder information of the payment schedule, the total to be paid and the distance to the nearest areas according to the users. GIS will be very appropriate to facilitate the process information on the nearest Samsat Outlet location according to the payment area in Jabodetabek. The solution method for this problem is the Haversine Formula, which is the method applied in the GIS application in determining the location of the Samsat Outlet closest to the user. Haversine Formula is an equation used in navigation, which gives the distance of a large circle between two points on the surface of the sphere (Earth) based on longitude and latitude. GIS is providing information about the location of the nearest Samsat Outlet and directions. The results of this study, the function of this application is to determine the nearest location of Samsat Outlet can be applied and provide information as well as determining the payment schedule for Samsat Outlets for users or vehicle drivers in Jabodetabek.
