Abstract :
The process of admitting new students at this school who are still using the system comes directly to the school to enroll in, so prospective students sometimes have difficulty getting information to carry out the registration process. The administrative process also tends to be slow, because the data is not yet integrated and well managed. This process also uses archives in physical form that are vulnerable to damage or even lost. To be able to overcome the problems that occur in the registration of new students in Mujahideen Private High Schools, the design and development of Web-Based New Student Admission Information System applications is made. The method used for the construction of information systems uses the Weighted Product Method with an object-oriented system approach that is modeled using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The final result of the design and construction of this information system is the existence of an application that can provide easy access to information and the online registration process so that the administration process for new student admissions becomes more effective and efficient.
