Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to make a model of fuel purchase on public refueling stations (SPBU) using a Quick Response (QR) code that can optimize refueling. In the transaction of Self service fuel purchase at the SPBU currently there are officers who carry out the nominal input data on the purchase and receive payment in the standing console. Payments that are still in cash and cash refunds take time. The use of cash can also lead to crimes such as counterfeit money usage and broken money. QR code is the development of a barcode that can accommodate approximately 4000 characters depending on the type of data. In this research the QR code obtained from Android application contains the result of purchase transaction data. The purchase process is done by reading the QR code through the camera on the model of SPBU dispenser. Raspberry Pi serves as the brain to run a dispenser model based on the information obtained through the QR code. From the measurement of total accuracy of the QR code readings via camera module from 10 cm to 45 cm, where each test is done 10 times the total accuracy of 77.5%.
