Abstract :
Image processing is one type of technology to solve problems regarding image resolution. Difficult font type in text images becomes a problem which is the reason why image processing is needed. At this time an application for recognizing font types in-text images is needed to make it easier to impersonate fonts. Template Matching Correlation is a technique in digital image processing to find small parts of an image that matches a template image (reference) were matching this image will produce a high similarity/acquisition by the image that is recognized as one of the image templates. In this case, the Matching Correlation Template will be used to find the resemblance / approve of the text image to do the imitation font done on the text image. Where this research can test Arial, Calibri, and Times New Roman fonts with the letters A to Z.
